Fun Fact: What Your Rate Case Has in Common with a Giraffe
Giraffes are the tallest land animal on earth. The average giraffe is 19.7 feet, or an equivalent 235 inches. That is very long.
We also know regulatory rate case applications can be VERY long.
So if you lined up each 8 ½ by 11 page and schedule that went into your application and lined up each 11 inch sheet, one after the other, it doesn’t take long to see that your application might just be taller than a giraffe. Try the math (Hint: 24 Pages * 11 inches = 264 inches when all laid out or about a full adult male giraffe).
So was your last application as tall as a giraffe? A family of giraffes?? A whole herd of giraffes???
